Roscommon Shoebox Appeal

Roscommon Shoebox Appeal are a local branch of Team Hope, Ireland who work to provide Christmas Shoeboxes filled with gifts for children in need across countries in parts of Eastern Europe and Africa. These children do not have access to even the most basic items needed to live. A Christmas Shoebox is a wonderful gift that can help them in so many ways and gives them joy and hope at Christmas!

The Roscommon Shoebox Appeal Team are entirely volunteer led and we have over 100 roles for anyone wishing to give their time - whether you have one hour to spare or more time on your hands! You can work from home or join our team in the Warehouse. You'll be fully supported, meet a great team of people and be part of the wider national Team who work to improve the lives of people in Developing Countries.

An invitation is extended to you to the official launch of Roscommon Christmas Shoebox Appeal Launch, details of which are as below:

Date: Tuesday, 11th October, 2016

Time: 7 - 8.30pm

Venue: Hannon's Hotel, Roscommon Town

This is an opportunity to welcome anyone interested in getting involved with the 2016 Appeal and to formally say a huge thank you to all the Schools, Businesses and Volunteers who support us each year and we really hope you can come along and join us and meet the Team!

The Coordinator will talk about the importance of volunteering to our Appeal and provide an overview of our volunteer roles and information about how to get involved!

Aishling McNiell will then formally launch the Appeal for 2016

Refreshments will be provided on the evening. It promises to be a really enjoyable and informative evening!
